December 10 - 11, the 2009 China Mobile Phone Industry Development Conference was held by China Institute of Communications, the authoritative organization of Chinas telecommunications sector in academic exchanges. Officials and experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Academy of Telecommu-nication Research and China Telecommunication Technology Labs, with the representatives from the major operators, the well-known mobile phone chip, handset manufacturers, design houses from all over the world gathered in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, beijing, for this grand event which was full of brainstorming and disc-ussion on the development plan for Chinas mobile phone industry, an important occasion yearly for Chinese industry insiders to contribute their wisdom and strength. Wingtech Group also presented in this annual event and delivered a speech .

Through a selection by the general assembly aiming to find out the mobile phone companies with outstanding performance in the year of 2009, Wingtech Group, with its outstanding performance against the financial crisis in 2009 and positive contributions to the industrial chain and society, was awarded 2 honors, the "China Mobile Phone Industry Award for Outstanding Performance" and the "Chinas Most Socially Responsible Mobile Phone Company Award".

Organizing Committee agreed that during the financial crisis period, Wingtech advanced against the difficulties and meanwhile adventurously carried on innovations, which demonstrated an outstanding performance and eventually resulted in fruitful business achievements in the severe situation of 2009. Wingtech is recognized as not only having attained impressive business results on its own, but also united the supply chain of upstream and downstream enterprises to reduce their costs and to enhance their own core competitiveness, the reason how Wingtech was able to withstand the attack from financial crisis, thus becomes a banner of Chinas mobile phone industry. Wingtech also plays a very strong role in promoting the technological innovation, supply chain development, and wireless Internet terminal developments in the mobile phone industry. At the same time, Wingtech actively participates in social welfare undertakings and contributes everything possible to the community including several large donations to the handicapped community, the weak groups, to the aid of kindergarten of "Project Hope" and to set up communications scholarships in universities.
      
In the award acceptance speech, the representative from Wingtech said that the two honors belong to all the Wing-tech employees and all partners and friends from the society who concern about the development of Wingtech.
